FASTCH2ANGE 1st Consortium Meeting
On June 11–12, 2025, the FASTCH2ANGE project, funded with nearly €3 million by the European Commission through the Clean Hydrogen Partnership (grant agreement no. 101192325), held its first consortium meeting in Lamezia Terme, Italy, hosted by RINA-CSM.
The two-day event gathered representatives from all consortium partners — RINA-CSM, RINA-C, TECNALIA, VTT, IDENER.AI, IL SENTIERO, and Fraunhofer — to review the progress made in the project’s early months. Each Work Package (WP) leader presented the advancements achieved in the initiated tasks, with updates on upcoming deliverables and technical milestones. The meeting also served as a key opportunity to strengthen collaboration and ensure alignment across workstreams.
The programme included a public session to introduce the FASTCH2ANGE project and its long-term vision, as well as a dedicated panel on the legal and scientific challenges related to PFAS regulation and hydrogen technologies. One of the meeting’s highlights was a collaborative workshop featuring presentations and exchanges with other EU-funded projects working on similar goals — including PROPLANET, TORNADO, MIRIA, SMARTWELD, COOPERANT, and TERASUN — creating valuable synergies across Europe’s clean hydrogen innovation landscape.
Informal networking moments throughout the event fostered strong connections and opened new opportunities for cooperation. The FASTCH2ANGE consortium thanks all participants and contributors for their active engagement and shared commitment to advancing clean, safe, and PFAS-free hydrogen technologies.
